The ever growing use of electrical vehicles and the concentration of EV chargers at specific locations like parking garages and business parking lots result in peak usages during certain regularily moments every day. When using peak shaving functionality integrated by default on every Mc Energy® energy storage system the requirement for a larger grid connection may be prevented and results in substantial cost reduction.

When other energy sources are available to feed the EV chargers application of our energy hub may be an interesting option. Intelligent connecting solar panels in combination with an existing grid connection and the EV chargers as a usergroup can result in a balanced spread of the energy flows between the users and the sources.
